Dade Medical College was recognized as a Certified CPR Training Center by the American Heart Association, the country’s leading provider of CPR training and education two years ago. This past weekend, DMC hosted it’s own first Annual Toy Drive, Merry Market. The event was held at the main pavilion at Grapeland Waterpark on Saturday, December 20th. Hundreds of students gathered this past weekend at the James L. Knight center for DMC’s 2014 graduation ceremony. As students from all walks of life walked into the waiting area in preparation for their graduation ceremony and settled into their seats, the enthusiasm and excitement was palpable.

As part of our continuing community effort to support the fight against breast cancer, Dade Medical College participated in the American Cancer Society’s Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 11 at Marlins Park. The DMC team made part of over 7,000 walkers that raised a whopping $417,408 towards the fight against breast cancer. Congratulations to DMC graduate, Daniella Medrek, who was recently hired at Miami Children’s Hospital as an Ultrasound Technician.
